surprised by the stay!
helpful staff clean room central location
The staff was helpful and friendly. the room was clean, and it had everything i needed. i especially liked the central location. I could easily reach all the attractions i wanted to visit.
the room i stayed in had some issues with the plumbing.

helpful staff great location nice lobby
The staff was lovely, especially khin at reception, she was fantastic. the location is great. It's close to the city center, just a short walk. the lobby is nice too, it has turtles and a fish pond. the room was big with a great shower.
The room was upgraded, yet it felt very dated. The carpet seemed a bit dirty.

A Frustrating Stay, Heating Issues and Disappointing Service
broken heater uncaring staff
The central heating did not work in my room. I reported this to reception. They provided an old, broken electric heater. There were no sockets near the bed. I was cold at night. The staff did not address the problem. I feel they did not care about my comfort.

the location was central. i walked easily to many attractions and restaurants nearby. the room was ready upon arrival, a definite plus after a long journey. the staff efficiently handled my check-in and provided clear information about hotel facilities.
the hallway noise was noticeable late into the evening. i could hear conversations and door closures which slightly impacted sleep.

unhelpful staff warm room
The staff at the entrance was not very helpful upon arrival. I had to wait a while to be let inside the building. The room was very warm. Only an old fan was available and there was no air conditioning. This.

overbooking issue early entry
the room was clean i found that acceptable.
i booked a double room but upon arrival i was told they had run out this was disappointing as it seemed like overbooking the staff member did eventually find me a double room but the initial confusion was frustrating also the housekeeper tried to enter the room early before checkout time i felt that was a lack of respect for privacy.
